SPICE Events are designed to increase contact and networking
between WA science teachers and science researchers at UWA and
associated SPICE partners (eg the Perth Zoo) and to expose
science teachers to exciting new science. The workshop features a special two hour teachers session with
POLAR-PALOOZA scientists, as well as presentations from leading UWA

special, invitation only workshop will be presented by Dr Carl Wieman
and Dr Sarah Gilbert from the Carl Wieman Science Education Initiative
